The set-up

What you are cutting from

Leave Qty blank if you can buy as many as you need. Fill it in when the rack has a finite number of them.

What is already on the rack

Optional. Short lengths left over from previous jobs. The plan will use them before it buys anything, if you let it.

The cut list

Tab off the end of a row to start the next one. Enter drops you straight down a column. It behaves like a spreadsheet because that is what it is.

/ 01

A drawing, not a table

Every bar comes back drawn to scale with each cut dimensioned along it, and the offcut measured at the end. You can put it on the wall by the saw and work from it.

/ 02

Checked before you see it

Each plan is verified cut by cut before it is shown: every piece accounted for, everything fits, blade width included. A plan that does not add up never reaches you.

Proven optimal

When the green tick shows, no plan on earth uses less stock for your cuts. That is proven, not estimated. See the benchmarks →
